GUIDE FOR AUTHORS JOURNAL ECONOMIA Y ADMINISTRACIÓN (E&A)

SUBMISSIONS

Contributions to E&A must be originals. Manuscripts should be directly sent through e-mail to the Director of the Revista Economía y Administración: rea@udec.cl , written in MS Word file, 1,5 spaced throughout, font size 11, preferable Times New Roman, with usual margins. The length of the manuscripts should not exceed 30 pages for the regular section, no more than 20 pages for the section of comments on articles, and no more than 10 pages for the section Remembering to...... Manuscripts submitted to E&E must be written in Spanish or English.

E&A encourage the authors to present their contributions according to the guidelines. Upon final decision of manuscripts acceptance, submissions of separated files for the text, tables, and figures is required.

Acceptance or rejection of manuscripts is decided after a peer review process.

Once again, contributions should be directly sent to the Director of the Revista Economía y Administración, whose electronic direction is the : rea@udec.cl .

PRESENTATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

•  Short title: Providing clear indication of the manuscript content. Translation to Spanish (English).

•  Footnotes: To the title: should contain authors' name and affiliation, and the address for manuscript correspondence, including e-mail address of the leading author. Other footnotes should be included where necessary (numbered consecutively).

•  Sections: a. Abstract, no more than 250 words, indicating keywords; b. Introduction, with brief references to the related literature, indicating justification, objectives, and structure of the manuscript. c. Research methodology

(methods); d. Results and discussion; e. Conclusion; f. Acknowledgment when appropriate; g. References, according to guidelines.

•  Tables: short title, with clear indication of the content, on separated sheets from the main body of the manuscript, single spaced, and numbered consecutively.

•  Figures: Should inform about relevant aspects, avoiding the repetition of information provided in the main body of text or tables. Figures should clarify and/or complement the analysis; brief title, numbered consecutively, on separated sheets.

COMMENTS OF ARTICLES

It is an article that develops a discussion around an important issues or topic based on national and international references, which are classified based on the nature of the publication that need to be accepted by the Editorial Board. Follow the same directions (1.a thru 6) of the scientific publications.

REMEMBERTING

It is a special section that gives information about the academic and personal life of a very outstanding author either in the field of economy or management that highlight his or her contributions and main papers.

REFERENCES

One good indicator of a good publication depends on the quality of the bibliographic references. They must be complete, current, follow the norms of the review, and must match with those mentioned in the text. The references mush follow the international norms. The key element of each bibliographic reference must contain the following: Author, year of publication, city, country, editorial house or publisher, and pages. It is the responsibility of the author to present the references according to the giving examples. If the references have more than one author, they must be separated by “;”.
