After finishing my courses in a Master Program  in Chile (Magister en Economia de Recursos Naturales) in March 1999, I was hired as young professor at the Universidad de Concepcion.  There I teach Microeconomics and Industrial Organization at undergrad level and Microeconomics, Game Theory and Economics of Biodiversity Conservation in the Master Program.   I also teach Fishery Economics in the Master Program in Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Natural Resource Economics in the Environmental Professional Program in the EULA Environmental Center.

During my Ph.D. studies I concentrated my efforts in my research (I had to finish in 4 years!) and in my work as a Graduate Student Researcher for Jeff Perloff and Larry Karp.  My work consisted on helping with their research and collaborating in their books Microeconomics, Microeconomics with Calculus, Modern Industrial Organization and Estimating Market Power and Strategy.
