Welcome to the web site of the XI Latin-Iberian American Congress of Operations Research (CLAIO) that will be held the 27^th-31^st of October 2002 at the University of Concepción, Chile.

CLAIO

The first Latin-Iberian American Congress of Operations Research was held in 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, and since then CLAIO has been held every two years in various cities of Latin America with the Latin-Iberian American Association of Operations Research (ALIO) auspice. From their beginnings, these events have played a fundamental role in the establishment of relationships and in the collaboration between researchers and professionals of the region, along with  the training of undergraduate and graduate students. The size of CLAIO has increased over the past years due to the participation of researchers from other regions.
