Workshop
The need for a better knowledge about
contaminants involved in copper industries, mining, processing,
smelting, refining and manufacturing, will be considered in a
one-day work, on October 24, with an active participation of
invited specialists from the industry, university and research
centers. The invited panelists will present the actual status
of the impurity related problems in the copper producing
processes. In the morning, discussions will be on smelting and
refining. Afternoon sessions will deal with
hydro-electrometallurgy and properties and quality of copper
product.
