The need for a better knowledge about contaminants involved in copper industries, mining, processing, smelting, refining and manufacturing, will be considered in a one-day work, on October 24, with an active participation of invited specialists from the industry, university and research centers.   The invited panelists will present the actual status of the impurity related problems in the copper producing processes. In the morning, discussions will be on smelting and refining. Afternoon sessions will deal with hydro-electrometallurgy and properties and quality of copper product.
