Quantum Optics 4

Description

Following the series of Conferences organized in Latin-America, Quantum Optics IV will be held at Florianopolis, Brazil, from October 13 to 17, 2008. The conference will take place at JurerÍ Beach Village Hotel. This Conference provides a forum to discuss recent developments in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, including topics such as: Non-Linear Optics, Atom Optics, Laser cooling, Atom and Ion trapping, Bose-Einstein Condensation, Quantum Interference, Entanglement, Atom Laser, Quantum Information Processing, among others. It is our interest to emphasize the experimental developments in those research areas. The first of these conferences took place at Santiago, Chile, in 2000. The second was held at Cozumel, Mexico, in 2004 (http://speckle.inaoep.mx/QOII/QOII.html) and the third at Pucón, Chile, in 2004 (http://quantum-optics.cfm.cl).
