No formal knowledge on coding will be assumed. It would be helpful if the students know some basic tools of C, Fortran, Maple, Mathematica, Matlab or Python to work out the exercises.

There are some fellowships for students and young postdoctoral researchers to cover tickets (Santiago-Concepción-Santiago) and accommodation in Concepción. In order to apply for the fellowships you must write an email to Julio Oliva with your current affiliation and line of research. Students should also provide the name of a professor for possible reference.
