Objetivos

To understand the formation of water masses, water mass distribution and the large scale circulation in the Eastern Equatorial and Eastern South Pacifc Ocean. To improve the understanding and prediction of ENSO. To improve the factors and processes of the impacts of ENSO. To improve the understanding, prediction and impact of the Antarctic circumpolar Wave (ACW).To understand the seasonal and interannual cycles.
